Contact us to set up a time to visit our school and watch a class.
We offer introductory private lessons to get you started on your Aikido journey and will pair you with a kind, experienced instructor. In your class, you will learn a couple of basic Aikido techniques and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Our teachers have decades of training under their belts, yet were once beginners themselves. They will be happy to help!

Aikido is a martial art that relies on a combination of timing, balance, entering and turning body movements, and atemi (strikes) to redirect aggressive attacks in a circular or spiral path. Aikido techniques generally end in a throw, joint lock or pin. Aikido practice helps develop strength, coordination and flexibility, as well as a calm and focused mind. It teaches us to blend with an attack's energy and redirect it, turning potential conflict into an opportunity for growth and understanding. Aikido is not about defeating others but about mastering oneself. It is an art form that teaches us to move gracefully, think clearly, and live harmoniously.
