Always practice in a joyful and vibrant manner.

Our Adult Classes

Mixed Classes

In our mixed-level classes, everyone trains together, learns from each other, and advances at their own pace in a non-competitive, supportive environment. The instructor of the class takes into consideration everyone's age, abilities, and special circumstances, such as injuries.

Advanced Classes

Our advanced class is taught by Konigsberg Sensei. This class emphasizes free, spontaneous movement under multiple attacks. It is for 2nd kyu level and higher or by special invitation from Konigsberg Sensei.

Low Impact Classes

This class emphasizes the principles of Aikido, such as ki (energy), that focus on movement and deal with the initial encounter between the aggressor and the recipient of the aggression. The instructor takes into consideration the ability of the individual to take falls and rolls. These skills are not required to participate in the class.

Weapons Classes

Our Weapons class teaches movement with a bokken (wooden sword) or jo (wooden staff), which is directly related to empty-hand Aikido technique. Working with a weapon helps free and expand consciousness and develop peripheral vision and focus.

As long as the fundamentals are common, everyone should have their expression of Aikido and their own ways of practice. As long as there's a common basic foundation, you should come out different. You have to be different.
